Honey

Raw honey is honey that has not been heated or processed, preserving its natural enzymes, antioxidants, and nutritional value.

Raw honey is known for its various health benefits, including its antibacterial properties, soothing effects on sore throats, and potential allergy relief. It also contains antioxidants and may aid in digestion.

Store raw honey in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. It’s best to keep it tightly sealed to prevent moisture from entering.

Yes, raw honey may crystallise over time, especially if stored at cooler temperatures. This is a natural process and does not affect the quality of the honey. You can liquify crystallised honey by gently heating it in a warm water bath.

Raw honey should not be given to infants under 12 months.

Ordering and Shipping

At the moment, we only ship within South Africa. However, we are constantly working to expand our shipping options.

Shipping times vary depending on your location. Generally, orders are processed and shipped within 5-7 business days. You can expect to receive your order within 2-5 business days after it has been shipped.

Honey Club Subscription

Payment for your first box will be charged to your tokenised credit card at the beginning of the first delivery month. Thereafter, payment will automatically be processed in the beginning of each delivery month.

Courier fee is included in the subscription cost.

The subscription boxes will be delivered in March, June, September and December, each year. Depending on when you sign up, you will receive your box in the upcoming delivery month (for example, if you sign up in April, you will receive your first delivery in June).

Cancellation of your subscription should be in writing to info@honeyhouse.org.za prior to scheduled payment of the upcoming box.

Yes, you can. Just send an email to info@honeyhouse.org.za to request a pause on your subscription and let us know when you are ready to activate your subscription again.
